Had the Model 3 for 5 years now and I genuinely can't remember the last time I worried about range. But I remember the first month being properly anxious about it, especially with no home charger (I'm in a flat). For those of you newer to EVs - does the anxiety fade for you or is it still there? And any tips for the first long journey?

Took me about 3 months. First trip up to Inverness I was planning charging stops like a military operation. Now I just plug the route into ABRP and trust it. You learn to trust the car's estimate eventually.

Honestly it never fully went for me until I got a charger at work. Then it just became a non-issue. The trick is having a routine - if you always leave with 80%, you never really think about it.

I had it bad when I got my Kona. But now I've done Cornwall and back twice and it's fine. The infrastructure is so much better than people think, honestly.
