Polestar 2 heat pump - does the latest OTA actually help in the Highlands?

Right, so I took the P2 up the A9 to Inverness for a dram of proper single malt. Freezing out there, obviously. I noticed the range dropped like a stone once the temp hit 2°C, even with the heat pump supposedly doing its bit. Was getting a shocking 220 miles on a full charge from the Edinburgh charger, whereas the English drivers down south are probably moaning about losing 10 miles in their Teslas. I installed the Polestar app update last Tuesday, but honestly, I can't tell if it's actually improved the efficiency or if I'm just imagining things. Anyone else up North noticed a difference with the new software, or is it just placebo? Also, the BP Pulse charger at the Loch Lomond services was playing up again, typical.

Alright Scotty, I reckon the heat pump makes a dead right difference. Cycled over Clifton Suspension Bridge this morning before a vegan full English, then checked the forums. Upgraded from my Zoe to a Cupra Born, but to be fair, heat pumps are vital in the Highlands. InstaVolt chargers up there are brilliant. Cheers mate, let us know if it holds up near Cairngorms!

Aye Scotty, I reckon the OTA helps a bit, but it’s no miracle cure for the freezing Highlands! Up here in Manc, it’s pissing down with rain again, typical. My ID.3 loses proper range when it's nippy, even with pre-conditioning on Intelligent Octopus. If you're heading up to Glencoe, plan around the InstaVolt chargers, they're a lifeline. Anyway, off to get a balti down the Curry Mile before the City match. Hope the Polestar keeps ye warm!
