Still on the standard flexible tariff and feeling like I'm missing out. I've got an Enyaq and a home charger. Looking at Octopus Go at 8.5p off-peak but Intelligent Octopus looks even better if you let them control your car. Anyone made the switch? Is the smart charging actually reliable?

On Intelligent with my Kona. It took about 2 weeks for the API to play nicely but since then it's been rock solid. Charging at 7.5p and I barely ever think about when it's charging. The savings are real.

Go is simpler if you just want cheap overnight charging on a timer. Intelligent only made sense for me when I could schedule it around cheap slots - but I'm in a flat without a charger, so I'm just jealous of all of you.

I'm on Go and my neighbour's on Intelligent. We compared bills - it's basically a wash for us because my Ioniq charges fully in the 4 hour window. Unless you need daytime top-ups, Go is enough.
