Model 3 winter tyres - garages quoting me absolute robbery?

Ey up. Right, it’s bloody freezing up here in Leeds now, and my Model 3 is losing about 20% range just sitting on the driveway. I know the heat pump is meant to be better, but it’s still a kick in the teeth. Was thinking of getting some proper winter tyres to help with the efficiency, but Halfords in Roundhay quoted me £600 for a set of Michelins! Absolute daylight robbery, lad. Anyone else fitted winter rubber to their Model 3? Or do you just put up with the bloody range drop and crank the heating? Need to know if it’s actually worth the cash or if I’m just being scammed by the garages.

Oh dear, Pete, those garage quotes are absolute daylight robbery! I reckon you're better off ordering online. I only do the country lanes round Norfolk in my Leaf, so I just use standard tyres and charge at the Pod Point by the church. Still, if you're driving to the village fairs in the snow, you'll need winter rubber! Try Blackcircles, to be fair.
