Put a deposit down on a 2022 MG4 SE Long Range yesterday, 28k miles, looks clean in the photos. Picking it up Friday. Any MG4 owners got a checklist of things I should look at before I hand over the rest of the money? Battery health is my main worry.

Check the 12V battery - they're notorious on the MG4. If it's the original one, budget for a replacement. Also check the rear wheel arches for rust, some early ones had paint issues.

Ask the dealer for a battery health report if you can. Also check the software version - the 2022 cars had some big updates and if it's not been updated it'll feel laggy. Enjoy it, they're great cars for the money.

Cheers lads, noted all of that. Dealer said they'd sort the software update before collection so that's one less thing to worry about.
