EV6 owners - what regen setting do you use for the A470 up to the valleys?

Right mun, been having a right old time sorting my regen settings on the EV6 for the daily run up the A470 into the valleys. If I put it on max, it’s absolutely tidy for coming back down into Cardiff Bay after the rugby, but going up the steep bits near Pontypridd it feels like it’s dragging a bit, doesn't it? I’m currently sitting at level 2, but my mate says I’m a muppet and needs it on 1. Anyone else doing the valley commute? What’s your setup? Also, does anyone know if the BP Pulse app actually works when you’re stranded in the rain near Caerphilly, or should I just stick to the Instavolt at the bay? Cheers, Ceri

Mate, I reckon you need max regen for those valleys! Down in London, my Atto 3 is just surviving ULEZ crawls and parking nightmares for a flat white. I just rely on Intelligent Octopus at 7p a unit and dash to work. To be fair, if I faced those A470 hills, I'd be riding the regen paddle the whole way to Cardiff. Does the Atto's one-pedal feel as aggressive as the Kia's on steep descents?

Mate, I drive an Atto 3 so I don't know the EV6's settings, but I reckon you want max regen for those steep valley drops! Honestly, driving after a mad dash on the Tube and a quick flat white, the A470 hills are a mental nightmare. I stick to Intelligent Octopus to charge up after battling London's ULEZ and parking dramas all week. How's the battery holding up on the climbs? InstaVolt's nearest rapid is a bit of a trek from the valleys!
