Best used EVs under £15k in 2026 — owner experiences wanted

With prices softening across the used EV market in 2026, the sub-£15k bracket is looking genuinely interesting — Nissan Leaf, MG4, Tesla Model 3, ID.3, Hyundai Kona all pop up around that money.

If you bought a used EV recently in this price range, what did you get, what mileage/trim, and would you recommend it? Anything to watch out for — battery health, warranty, dealer vs private?

Got a 2021 Model 3 SR+ with 48k miles for £14.2k from a dealer in June. Battery health checked at 92%. Big screen still feels premium, but check the cabin noise on the motorway and make sure the warranty transfer is confirmed before you pay.

Kona 64kWh 2021, 35k miles, £13.8k. Range still showing ~250 miles in summer, low 190s in winter. Only niggle: the boot is small and there's no heat pump on the earlier ones.
