Anyone using the MG Charge tariff at Gridserve M6 Toll or just tapping the card?

Right then, bab. Took the MG4 up the M6 Toll yesterday to grab a decent balti in Wolverhampton, yeah? Stopped at the Gridserve to juice up. Was chuffed to see it was 49p a kilowatt, but me mate reckons I’m a right mug for not using the new MG Charge tariff. Says it knocks a few pence off if yow link it up. Anyone actually tried this yet? Me battery was at 12% and it took about 35 mins to hit 80%, which is bostin for the old girl, but the price made me wince! What’s yow go-to for rapid charging near the Black Country? Let me know if it's worth the faff!

Alright Bob. I reckon just tapping the card is easier these days, to be fair. I don't use the M6 Toll much, mostly navigating my Ioniq 5 down the single-track lanes round here to get to the coast. Had a near-death experience with a tractor near Salcombe last week! If I'm heading up north, I usually rely on InstaVolt or Gridserve direct. Does the MG tariff actually save you quid over the standard contactless rate now? Might grab a cream tea after sorting this.
