Overview

The Volvo EX30 is a compact electric SUV that delivers Scandinavian design, genuine safety and surprisingly strong performance in a small, efficient package. The Long Range Single Motor version uses a 69kWh battery to return up to 304 miles of WLTP range, while the base Single Motor still manages a sprightly 5.7-second 0-62mph time thanks to its rear-mounted motor. DC charging at up to 175kW takes the battery from 10 to 80 per cent in about 26 minutes, making the EX30 a capable road-tripper despite its modest dimensions. Inside, the minimalist cabin centres on a single large Google-based infotainment screen, with high-quality materials and plenty of clever storage. With Volvo's renowned safety systems, a clean, sustainable interior and one of the lowest starting prices in the premium small-SUV class, the EX30 is a hugely appealing, efficient choice for urban and suburban buyers.
