Overview
The Geely EX5 marks the Chinese giant's own-brand debut in the UK, and it arrives as a polished, well-equipped mid-size electric SUV that takes on the Skoda Enyaq and Kia EV3 with real confidence. The SE version pairs a 60.2kWh usable battery with a 218PS front-mounted motor for up to 267 miles of WLTP range and a brisk 0-62mph time of 6.9 seconds. DC rapid charging at up to 120kW adds 10-80 per cent in about half an hour, while the refined suspension and quiet cabin make light work of long journeys. Inside, the EX5 features a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, digital driver's display, wireless phone charging and a spacious 442-litre boot. Priced from £31,990 on the road with a generous standard specification and strong build quality, the EX5 is a seriously compelling value proposition from one of the world's largest carmakers.Want the full picture?
